Once in a Lifetime Storm Coming

I was reading in the newspapaer today and stumbled across an article describing this system that will be moving into the west soo. Apparently, three seperate fronts are all going to collide and produce some heavy precipitation around the Tahoe area and much of the rest of America. Apparently, the 'Pineapple Express' from Hawaii, the 'Arctic Express' From Canada and some other front coming from the Gulf of Mexico are all going to colide and just puke snow everywhere. Theres sup-posed to be some serious snofall in the Tahoe are coming Jan 7-10 if your in Tahoe, so enjoy.

yea it really sucks in the northwest, midwest, and east right now. all the east is getting is temps in the 40s adn 50s and rain...expept we did get 6in of snow today but its all gonna melt saturday

ya i just learned about this in socail studies too, the west and lower east coast arent gonna get any of this, its where all the air masses meet together. It;s moslty going to affect midwest so PA watch out. It's supposed to happen from jan 7th to 11th. 1937,1950 2005? we'll see. Thos were the last dates this happend. I hope it does it again

its been said, but cant be emphasized enough- its not the entire west coast. washington and southern BC are getting shit. My home mountain has not even a 30'' base, we might get about 5'' this weekend, we're hurting bad. we barely get any of these storms, if at all

Yeah Tahoe just got the storm of the year a week ago and now they are gunna get another possible 5-8 feet before Tuesday. I'm officailly making my move down there this Saturday. I can't wait. COuld be one hell of a drive though.

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 PM PST Monday...

Snow will continue through Monday evening with heavy snow at times.
By Monday night... total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 feet are
expected along and west of Highway 395... with 5 to 8 feet above 7000
feet. A foot of snow is also possible in lower valleys of eastern
Mono County.

if they are calling 5-8 feet at 7000 feet that means we will probly get 10 feet in town and 12-15 on the mountain at 11,000

Kirkwood got 40-48in in 24 hours. I was at mammoth saturday, dumping but strong winds kept it mostly closed, and despite 2 feet falling it felt like 4in because of wind swept.

I went to Ak once there was alot of snow there I went up on some glacier thats some snow about 1300ft but its ice after the first 2 ft cause of the pressure 20ft of true pow is dangerous you fall in head first youll most likely die.
