Binding remounting worries

Hey. I'm 21 and like to ski a lot of park and recently bought myself a new 177cm pair of Volkl Wall skis mounted with Griffons.
Due to a cock up by the company I bought them from, the BINDINGS ARE MOUNTED 6 CM BACK FROM CENTRE. I have complained and they say they will pay for a REMOUNTING TO CENTRE.
Because I want them moved quite far the rear mounting drill holes will be behind the edge of the heel piece and I am worried that they are likely to just break when tail pressing due to stress concentrations.
Is it going to be ok for me to remount them or is the ski just going to be fucked?
Thanks

You will be fine the previously drilled holes just need to be filled. Remounting them once or even twice won't hurt really (unless the holes are very close together) it's when you remount 3 or more times you need to worry. Your edges are probably going to break and rip out long before you get to the point of snapping to ski.
So there's no need to worry. Also the guy who mounted your skis is an absolute idiot, who the hell ever mounts fully symmetrical skis -6cm?!? You'd think he'd double check or call before he goes and mounts symmetrical skis 6cm back from center...
All times are Eastern (-5)
