Be my PROM date?

So here in Pocatello, Idaho, Prom is coming up. I seem to not have a date cause I'm not gonna ask some basic non skier chick. So, if any of you ladies down in SLC or somewhere decently close to Southeast Idaho, you should be my prom date. Ill buy dinner, take you for a drive in my grandfathers '69;) Corvette convertible to the local ski resort and gaze at the stars, and even let you meet B Fish if you please. All this and more. If interested please PM me or simply comment on this thread. Don't leave a fellow 16 year old skier stay home this prom.

P.S. Its usually a tradition to go skiing on Prom but with lack of snow and the set up not being finished, I'm scared it might be a ski less prom.

theabortionatorDrop in looks pretty good. IF you had a more mellow jump that might help you. IF you need that size then maybe not. You can get some orange fencing for cheap/free and screw that onto your drop in. Throw some lattice or strips of lattice like you were saying. Even through pvc strips across the down.

You can def get that thing rockin. Smart height. Most people build theirs WAYYYY too small imo.

I guess for some tricks a big jump is nice but a lower flatter take off will give you more speed. You could even build a few takeoffs and make them interchangeable for different rails/tricks.

UPDATE: I have a girl now and if I'm going to go go prom I'll ask her, but just not sure if I wanna go for a number of reasons (cost, drama, etc). Anyone who wanted to be my date, I'm sorry but you've been replaced by the best girl on earth...she skis too❤️

Dear SFB,

Unfortunately, we both knew this was inevitable. You will always reside in a special place in my heart that no one else will. We just have to face reality. You live in Colorado and who knows how old you are.. I am 16 and this girl is 20 minutes away from me when I drive my 2002 Subaru Outback. Reality and logic has set in. Like I said before, no one will replace you, but this is whats best. If you need to talk about anything, feel free to come to Pocatello or PM me. Maybe you have the "instagram"? Id love to stay somewhat connected, but we are moving on to bigger and better things.

One of my friend keeps telling me that even if I dont have a date I still should go to prom...I dont have a plans to ask a girl since theyre standards are shit... Should I still go and pay a lot of money with no date?

It's like 150 bucks tops if you do it right and it'll be a rad fucking night. Prom was the one of the funnest nights my junior/senior year and i would have really regretted it if i hadn't gone.
