NS is doing another user survey as part of our everlasting quest to make the site even better.

Just went through this again to see what would happen. The first time I always answered truthfully. That included saying that I don't know or care about what athletes wear and what brands they are associated with.
The second time through I answered everything as "gaperey" as possible. That included saying it was very important to me what athletes wear and do.

The first time through I didn't even get the set of questions about what brands the athletes wear, and I didn't get a chance to enter in the drawing. The 2nd time through I did get all of those cheesy questions, and I did have the opportunity to enter my contact info.

Bottom line: if you are a sheep who buys what marketing throws at you NS wants your business and info. If you don't care about hype NS says FU.


interesting i put i didn't care about athletes and still did the whole survey, and entered contact info.

sucks to suck there eh?

Done, pretty in depth but I find it fun doing these things for the most part. Last section made me question my knowledge of ski/outerwear sponsors haha!

if you choose the you dont care what gear pro skiers use option it just ends. you dont have the option to put in your info for the giveaway

I also put in a jackspit email, cuz I don't want your skis, if you are giving them away or not. You don't have the skis I use anyway, and I get enough spam already.

Logos part was kind of fun. But sorry to all the pros out there, I have no idea who you all ski for. I can't say I will buy skis or outerwear because of a specific athlete, but I'm sure there's some still influence there even if it's indirectly happening.

Done! I love doing surveys for companies the most valuable thing is what the customer has to say, and I love when good companies give me that voice. Nothing wrong with giving companies ideas on how they can do better in the eyes of the customers(within reason obviously).

I think if you answered "I don't care about athletes" on the question right after the logo quiz you didn't have that part, because I didn't have it either.

And now I'm realizing that this will probably get deleted so that lazy people don't just choose that answer to get out of doing extra work.
