Operation Jade Helm is the Green Berets, SEALs, special forces from the Air Force, and Marines doing realistic military training in US states. Some of it just happened in Fort Lauderdale this past weekend, see video. Some are saying it is the government preparing for martial law and just getting citizens used to this type of military presence.
Supposedly these military exercises will have military personnel trying to go undetected and have groups of people walking around rifles. They want to see how civilians react and when they will report things and when they wont.
'The size and scope of Jade Helm sets this one apart. To stay ahead of the environmental challenges faced overseas, Jade Helm will take place across seven states,' the USASOC wrote in a March 24 release.
'This exercise is routine training to maintain a high level of readiness for Army Special Operations Forces because they must be ready to support potential missions anywhere in the world on a moment's notice.'
