so not gonna say where i got this info, but i got roasted pretty good on this topic. so i heard that the "proper din" you should be at is when you can stand in your skis, and just twist your toe out of the heel piece. and if you cant do this, your din is supposedly too high.
do you guys think you should be able to do this? i feel like if this was true you wouldnt be able to actually stay in your bindings when dropping cliffs, jumps, landing switch, ect.
not trying to start a big argument, but what do you guys think? do you agree with the "twist test" or do you believe in gradually adjusting your dins to your needs until you stop pre releasing, even if you cant just stand there and force a release on your own?
