Grls, I need your help!

I was recently given a Marketing position at a ski/board company based out of Buffalo NY. Schussmeisters Ski Club works to reach out to not only University at Buffalo Students, but also other students attending Western New York colleges and also family of students and alumni. We currently have over 1000 members and its one the largest student run ski clubs in the United States!!

We host rail jams on campus, movie premiers(Inspired Movie Tour Last Sept.), learn to ski events, ski mechanics(free waxing), and other events with local shops. As the marketing director of Schuss I will be working along side our Social director who is in charge of organizing these events.

One goal of mine with this position is to reach out to female skiers and snowboarders. We have so many out of state/country students who have never had the opportunity to ski back home so I believe this is a great way to get these people into skiing/snowboarding! This job has finally given me a foundation to work off of, to hopefully get an event like this going!!





So, that being said, my question is what kind of things would you have liked to see when you were getting involved with skiing? What would have helped you to want to get into skiing? What kinds of things are you most attracted to skiing related? Or what catches your eye most that could be incorporated into getting girls involved? I just would like to hear you( as other girl skiers) opinions to try and come up with a rad event that will attract a lot of girls to hopefully get them as stoked on skiing as we are!
