I'm interested in the Line Blend's for next year. I'd mostly be using them in the park but also some occasional all mountain/powder. Are these decent skis for me? And should I center mount? Thanks.
Do Not Center Mount! I made that mistake by reading up on other threads. I have specific park skis that are center mounted and they feel great. I remounted my 2015 Blends halfway between the center and recommended lines and they're perfect for exactly what you're asking! (technically -2 from center, not true center)
I just bought the new Blend '15 and you can ride them simply everywhere. Trust me I tested them 8 day in Austria last week in every condition + in the park.
I mounted them -2cm from true center. Thats pretty much perfect. Do yourself a favor and don't center mount a non symmetric ski.
I had my blends mounted true center and loved how they skied. i skied mostly in the trees and pow at my local mountain. I broke my first set of bindings on them and had to get them re mounted back of center and now hate the way they ski. the tips are too long now to ride switch comfortably. that is just my personal preference but they are some awesome skis that work well everyday, and on every type of snow.
