Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find anything in search bar, but I'm thinking of going to Michigan State or University of Michigan and was wondering if there are any good mountains specifically with good parks near these two schools?
Mt. Brighton, Mt. Holly, BIttersweet is on the come-up, the Burg, Nubz. Michigan skiing scene is mad dope, tons of crazy kids out there throwing some unique dubs and are completely unknown.
Nubs nob, Boyne Highlands, Shanty creek. All great resorts and within 2 to 4 hours! Probably my three favorite places to ski in Michigan. All three have very nice parks and plenty of terrain.
Cannonsburg is fun because it has a lot of features, but it has the elevation of a bathroom floor and the layout is weird. I heard they'll be doing some lift changes in the off-season and maybe that will fix the layout problem.
The reason I named the three up top first is because they have dedicated park lifts so you don't have to mess around.
Source---I have skied in Michigan since I could walk.
Mt Brighton- pretty close to U of M
Mt. Holly- close as well, 40ish min and has a park that is really coming up
Cannonsburg, Boynes, Nubs, Bittersweet, Treetops, Pine Knob....
Theres a lot of stuff to do here
