Do You Button and THEN Zip, or Zip and then Button Your Pants?

We were having this conversation at work, and personally I zip and then button.

if you zip and then button your zipper always moves down a bit so you have to rezip which is not efficient use of time. therefore I button and then zip.

So, do you button before you button? or do you button before you button?


All of the sudden I have the song "Hardest button to button" stuck in my head. Mainly because I believe now that that song is about people that have button pants and have to pee really bad. They really do become the hardest buttons to button.
