DobberJust a heads up... Some pairs of J skis with blemishes are only $400 right now. http://jskis.com/products/factory-blemish
I have 43 days on my whip its this year and they still look brand new. The bases simply don't scratch. I've hit plenty of rocks and they take impacts better than a pornstar takes dick. JLev know more about making skis than anyone else
If you buy them, mount them, and ride them...you can still return them for a full refund. Customer service is top notch.
They are the cadillac of skis. A huge step up from LINE skis.
Do you have any specific questions about them?

.FryYeah actually. Do you have any edge cracks? Do the top sheets chip easily? Do they hold up well on big jumps?
.FryI just looked at your profile and realized that you ride walls. I've been riding walls for the past two seasons. I love them because they absolutely slay in the park. One of the reasons I'm scared to buy j skis is because I'm nervous that they won't perform as well as my walls.
So since you ride both, have you noticed any big differences between the two skis both performance and durability wise?
DobberNo edge cracks or chips at all. Only damage that I have is from dropping them in the parking lot. They take some getting used to when landing, especially if you are used to stiffer skis like walls. They feel great in the air...really light.
Personally, I love the tip/tail rocker and the softer flex on the J Skis. They feel poppier in the park, and a lot better for carving the shit out of groomers. I don't know if its my style of skiing or what. The skis are almost the same size, J's are a little wider at the waist and narrower at the tip/tail. I have ridden my J's much more than my walls this year.
If I were you, I would buy the whip-its and try them out. Jason makes it easy to ship them back if you don't like them. It's kind of like a rental.
