After hearing his plan for the white house it is clear that he is targeting the simple voters the religious voters. This group he is targeting can be labeled the fox news viewers the people that look at facts and data and dismiss them because it clashes with their faith. His speech sounded more like something you hear from one of those Mega-churches in the south with god being tossed every which way and "if you can imagine", which clearly they can because they think there is a god, heaven/hell a snake tricked a women to eat an apple ect... This could be harmful for the countries image, we look at the middle east and say shit about them for being craziest religious while here in the States a liked mind person just said he is running for President.

In the constitution it CLEARLY states in order to run for president you have to be born in the United States, not Canada.

As I said before. HIS WIFE is a manager director at Goldman Sachs. Romney and Obama’s biggest donors were Goldman Sachs. All candidates are funded by banks/the military industrial complex.

He will not keep any of his promises because he is a politician and a puppet just like Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc.

Goldman Sachs gambled and ruined peoples lives and was fined 550 million. Goldman Sachs will fund/back his candidacy, just like every other president, but yet he is supposed to regulate the firm and protect US, the american public from corrupt Wallstreet firms?

Obama isn't the issue, its the whole damn election, and how peoples ideologies are bought out by the highest bidders. Individuals drop 10s of millions of dollars just to slander the other opponents and support super packs.

People need equal voices and we are letting billionaires control our economy, and the amount of spending to get Obama ellected last election was 2 billion dolars, between Romney and Obama.

Why the hell do we spend 2 billion on an election? The total cost of the congressional race was around 7 billion... Like what the fuck. Then they get into office and congress puts their heads up their asses and veto everyones shit because they want some favor for their deed of passing the bill. So they add earmarks and bullshit to bills because they are influenced by big corporations like Comcast who pay them big money to have them in office, along with any other company that has their money in politics.

People need to open their damn eyes and quit picking one side or the other, we are American's. We are not against eachother we need to work together. The industrial complex is big and they are controlling a lot of the government.

I have a little insight to this and would like to share this from the view point of a politically active college student:

I am a member of the MFCR (Michigan Federation of College Republicans) and have been to numerous CPAC and MFCR conventions. I have seen Sen. Cruz speak a few times and yes, he may be a smooth talker and may be able to sway the easy votes towards his way, but the issue at hand is that he is too much of an extremist in terms of policy.

He may be a United States Senator, but that's it. His views are too rigid and far too Tea Party like to have the nation, let alone a party stand behind him. His views on Immigration have flipped flopped on too many instances (Much like Mitt Romney) and his stance with global conflict is to act as the world police. Of course there are atrocities all over the world and we, as the world's leading power, make an attempt to stabilize regimes and end slaughter in the streets, but he will go to Defcon 5 at the drop of a hat like it is a pissing contest. This may be an over dramatization, but he is far from cool headed.

He will pray too much to one demographic (Predominantly white Christians)and hope and pray to his righteous lord that it will be enough, the issue though is that as soon as another runner steps up to the plate (My favorite is Rand Paul) it will split Cruz's votes in half and get more level headed, moderate republicans to join the new runner's side.

I don't think Cruz will win the Nomination. I don't think he is right for America at this time (Or ever in my opinion), and this will all blow over in about 3 months when either another runner comes up for the Republican party or some leaked e-mails/videos of Cruz bashing Latinos comes out.

Technically the warming of the earth pretty much grinded to a halt overall since 2015... That's not up for debate. I am not stepping into that argument right now but it's a pretty well known fact if you're even the least bit educated WRT atmospheric stuff.

A net of 4.5 million jobs (back in july 2014) were created while Obama was in office. While Bush was in office he made 8.5 million jobs, he ended up tanking the economy and loosing 7 million jobs, for a net of 1.5 million jobs created.

There aren't 4.5 million more people working at mcdonalds or fast food joints, those are pretty much maxed out in their markets. There are people out there getting legitimate jobs. He

I agree minimum wage should be raised, and what are you doing about it? I have voted in my state and we raised minimum wage to 15 an hour. There are people out there that think its fine where it is.

Still jobs are being created and the economy is looking better. We are much better off than Europe right now and the US dollar is gaining value.

Obviously things aren't perfect but Obama isn't the devil people make him out to be.

there's evidence for global warming and the FEMA is passing a new law where they won't give States funding if they deny climate change. literally every field of science that is not associated with oil companies agree is that global warming is a thing and that if we don't stop polluting the earth we will do irreversible damage.

That sounds wonderful. At this point in time there is no logical basis for denying global warming. It reminds me of Upton Sinclair's quote:

"It is is difficult to get a man to believe something when his salary depends on him not believing it."

Many prominent figures deny global warming not because they truly believe it to be false, but because to accept it would force them to change their ways.

It's no surprise politicians in states hit hard by global warming (Florida and Texas come to mind) continue to elect politicians who refute every scrap of evidence there is.

To be honest i'm pulling for Rick Perry to be the guy for the GOP anyways so I don't really care lol, I've just liked Ted Cruz and what he's stood for for a couple years now. I like his views on the majority of things, including repealing Obamacare, being very pro 2A, not giving amnesty to millions of illegals, not being afraid to show his love of God, and I can go on.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada because his parents were there for work... That's like saying people who were born overseas while their parents were there for deployment or whatever aren't American, come on dude.... The guy is an American, doesn't even have his Canadian citizenship.

The problem with the vast majority of American voters is their blind allegiance to one of two parties. Thousands of people wont vote D or R just because of perceived hate for that group and will blindly vote for the other. People are so uninformed by in large and it doesn't help we have ridiculous media who sway the masses. People hate on Fox, but CNN, NBC, etc all fucking suck and cater to one insanely biased view. It still surprises me with the vast amount of information on the internet people won't research candidate, check their history, what they have done good, bad, etc, see what they want to do in the future and make a decision based on that. Until then, we will continue to have morons running this country (AKA Obama) who can lie, etc in order to gain power.

Why wouldnt Cruz be a good president? I see no reason why not? Forget about his religious associations, etc. The guy loves America, obviously is moderately successful now, and does everything in his power to help his state. Yes there are those people out there who hate him because hes opposed to the mass migration of immigrants, etc bankrupting his state. But god dam....he can't be much worse than Obama. At least he has legitimate experience unlike the community organizer currently running our country.

ANYONE besides Hilary would be the best thing for this country in 2016. But well continue to see the same bull shit in this country for at least another 4 years. Thousands will vote blindly for Hilary because she is a woman. They'll ignore her countless scandals (some of which are serious crimes) and shell win
