Obama isn't the issue, its the whole damn election, and how peoples ideologies are bought out by the highest bidders. Individuals drop 10s of millions of dollars just to slander the other opponents and support super packs.

People need equal voices and we are letting billionaires control our economy, and the amount of spending to get Obama ellected last election was 2 billion dolars, between Romney and Obama.

Why the hell do we spend 2 billion on an election? The total cost of the congressional race was around 7 billion... Like what the fuck. Then they get into office and congress puts their heads up their asses and veto everyones shit because they want some favor for their deed of passing the bill. So they add earmarks and bullshit to bills because they are influenced by big corporations like Comcast who pay them big money to have them in office, along with any other company that has their money in politics.

People need to open their damn eyes and quit picking one side or the other, we are American's. We are not against eachother we need to work together. The industrial complex is big and they are controlling a lot of the government.

I have a little insight to this and would like to share this from the view point of a politically active college student:

I am a member of the MFCR (Michigan Federation of College Republicans) and have been to numerous CPAC and MFCR conventions. I have seen Sen. Cruz speak a few times and yes, he may be a smooth talker and may be able to sway the easy votes towards his way, but the issue at hand is that he is too much of an extremist in terms of policy.

He may be a United States Senator, but that's it. His views are too rigid and far too Tea Party like to have the nation, let alone a party stand behind him. His views on Immigration have flipped flopped on too many instances (Much like Mitt Romney) and his stance with global conflict is to act as the world police. Of course there are atrocities all over the world and we, as the world's leading power, make an attempt to stabilize regimes and end slaughter in the streets, but he will go to Defcon 5 at the drop of a hat like it is a pissing contest. This may be an over dramatization, but he is far from cool headed.

He will pray too much to one demographic (Predominantly white Christians)and hope and pray to his righteous lord that it will be enough, the issue though is that as soon as another runner steps up to the plate (My favorite is Rand Paul) it will split Cruz's votes in half and get more level headed, moderate republicans to join the new runner's side.

I don't think Cruz will win the Nomination. I don't think he is right for America at this time (Or ever in my opinion), and this will all blow over in about 3 months when either another runner comes up for the Republican party or some leaked e-mails/videos of Cruz bashing Latinos comes out.

A net of 4.5 million jobs (back in july 2014) were created while Obama was in office. While Bush was in office he made 8.5 million jobs, he ended up tanking the economy and loosing 7 million jobs, for a net of 1.5 million jobs created.

There aren't 4.5 million more people working at mcdonalds or fast food joints, those are pretty much maxed out in their markets. There are people out there getting legitimate jobs. He

I agree minimum wage should be raised, and what are you doing about it? I have voted in my state and we raised minimum wage to 15 an hour. There are people out there that think its fine where it is.

Still jobs are being created and the economy is looking better. We are much better off than Europe right now and the US dollar is gaining value.

Obviously things aren't perfect but Obama isn't the devil people make him out to be.

That sounds wonderful. At this point in time there is no logical basis for denying global warming. It reminds me of Upton Sinclair's quote:

"It is is difficult to get a man to believe something when his salary depends on him not believing it."

Many prominent figures deny global warming not because they truly believe it to be false, but because to accept it would force them to change their ways.

It's no surprise politicians in states hit hard by global warming (Florida and Texas come to mind) continue to elect politicians who refute every scrap of evidence there is.

To be honest i'm pulling for Rick Perry to be the guy for the GOP anyways so I don't really care lol, I've just liked Ted Cruz and what he's stood for for a couple years now. I like his views on the majority of things, including repealing Obamacare, being very pro 2A, not giving amnesty to millions of illegals, not being afraid to show his love of God, and I can go on.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada because his parents were there for work... That's like saying people who were born overseas while their parents were there for deployment or whatever aren't American, come on dude.... The guy is an American, doesn't even have his Canadian citizenship.
