Childhood friend of mine Cole Anderson from Vancouver Island passed away on Saturday in Whistler. Vibes out to the Anderson family. Another skier gone too soon. He was only 18. Just a small reminder of how real and scary it can be and how surreal it is to think that it was someone you knew and grew up with.

Too many losses in the skiing community this season, so freaking sad.

Shit man, skiing on the edge of a cliff is one of those things where you know that there is a huge risk of death, but you just don't think you could possibly be the one dying until you are falling off the side. Must have been the worst few seconds ever. Vibes out to you and his family. SIP

I can't even fathom what that's like man, we all go out there and ski but none of use really realize the risks we take.

Condolences go out to you and your family and Coles family to, it must be hard losing someone as young as him and especially when you knew him. You can get through it man.

Strong vibes... Heard about it a day or two ago.... a girl passed just last week while skiing north of Toronto... She was a local at my hill and only 16... wearing a helmet and everything
