What do you do for your birthday?

I turn 21 June 1st and I know tradition is to blackout as hard as you can and try to put the pieces of your life back together after waking up with a stranger in a room in a different state/country than where you started, but I just am curious to what was the best birthday you ever had and if you had any suggestions for my 21st.

Since I was 17, I actually got to celebrate 2 birthday parties. All the rest, I was working abroad. Trust me, its just a number and a day. Nothing more.

I spent time with my close friends on birthdays I am home.

For a couple years, it coincided with my departments ski trip. So I skied for a weekend and we had a keg both nights.

Usually I do nothing or go out for dinner with friends maybe.

My 21st birthday was my favourite so far. Im from Canada so it really wasnt about being legal though.

Yes I did get incredibly drunk that night but the day was amazing because I was hanging out up at my cottage with some amazing human beings, jumping off cliffs, watching epic sunsets while your buddy is waterskiing, hanging out around a fire under the stars, making jokes, pushing your boundaries. All reallllll good shit.

theres a pool hall downtown i like.

just round up friends, get a whole bunch of beer, and spend the night playing pool. nothing huge, just good company and an excuse to get loaded.

not sure why, but taco bell on my birthday has become a new tradition in recent years. i go to taco bell a couple times a week though (yeah i know i'm disgusting) so it's nothing too exciting

I get a bunch of people together and we camp in the backyard in tents and hammocks and shit. It's nice because you get to spend time outside but you can get hammered and not have to worry about getting lost in the woods. Plus indoor plumbing.

nothing too wild, it depends on the day, honestly. ive always had my b-day in the middle of the week, so I don't really do anything wild, and if I do, I usually kick it with my parents/siblings, eat some cake, and smoke myself into a comatose state.

I don't really do much. I'll chill with my fam after work, but I haven't done anything notable since I was 8. And my birthday is July 3rd so everyone forgets cause they are too hyped on Fourth of July.

Best Birthday of all time... Got to go on a pony ride and feed some ducks and shit. I got a ton of legos. Ate way too much cake that shit was great.
Now days we get a babysitter and go to sushi. Drink some beer and sake. Get home before 9:30, get my candle blown out then bed. Not bad in my book.
