freedom plate...

so i'm probably gonna buy 2 pairs of skis this year (park + fat) since i made a bit of cash working and there's nothing else i wanna spend it on. it's probably gonna be the 4frnt msp and stl, but i'm thinking of mounting them with reactor 12's so i don't have to buy two sets of bindings. can someone who has RIDDEN the freedom plate setup please tell me how it performs? it looks a bit awkward, and i don't wanna fuck up my new skis with this thing if it's shit. cheers.

i've ridden the reactors, and no matter how good the fnoireedom plate works, if your reactors shit the bed, your shit outa luck. Some people haven't had problems with them, but some have, including me. Its just really shitty not being ale to ride your new skis for a good chuck of time because you have no bindings. Get some s912s or look p-12s man, youd be better off in the long run, even tho it would cost a bit more
Give line a few more years. Im sure the freedom plate is fine, but the binding still needs some tweaking.

Yeah, I'd say just buy two pairs of look or rossi bindings off of ebay, probably won't be much more than the reactors plus two freedom plates.

Since nobody actually answered your question, I will. The Freedom Plate works great. No complaints. It's about .7 cm, which is very little lift. And you really don't notice it at all.

what is the freedom plate?
Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.
