I'm on the preliminary hunt for a new daily drive, and looking for some suggestions or feedback. I will try to give a good history. I ski in the east at sugarloaf, but in two years when I graduate I will probably be moving west. I like to charge hard all mountain and ski the bumps and trees, and hit the occasional park jump when its in my way and would consider myself expert. My quiver is a pair on Line Anthems, and 190 Line SFB. The anthems are 6 years old or so and getting a little soft for how hard I ski as a daily driver. I love the SFB for the soft deeper days, but with the 190 length they are a lot of ski for the tight trees and bumps and a daily driver.
I'm 6ft tall 170lbs, I'm looking for
- around a 92-100mm waist, I like the rocker-camber-rocker profile, but I'm open to all suggestions
- I want a stiffer ski that can really charge and handle an aggressive skier.
Ive looked at the Moment Pb& J, Tahoes, and will probably demo the Kartel 98 when they come to the Loaf. (although I think they may be a little softer than what Im looking for)
Looking to spend less than $500 on the skis (hoping to get summer deals on last years models)
Calling on the NS knowledge and just looking for suggestions.
Thanks!
