Is the comp scene changing

This week my local hill (blue mountain, ON) has been hosting a series of competitions called snowcrown which is an AFP gold event. While I was expecting robotic tricks without any style. I was greatly surprised while watching the pro division that it wasn't just a huckfest and the riders were throwing their tricks with style. Many of the riders still have a long career left
So I am asking is the next generation of comp skiers going to have more style than what we see in top level comps today or a continuation of the bigger is better mindset?

I think the higher up you go, the more robotic it gets. While this might hold a pro division, it's still not going to be as competitive or technical as the top comps. In my opinion, the top of the top is and will continue to be a huckfest for most competitors, whether we like it or not.

Also a lot depends on course size, generally speaking, a hill in ON is going to have significantly smaller features than say the xgames or dew tour course, so judging comes down to style since crazy dubs or trips are kinda farferched
All times are Eastern (-5)
