Ski weight

So I'm thinking of picking up the Al dentes and mounting look pivots on them. Right now I have the 163 volkl kinks with pivots and the two of the, weigh around 10 pounds. If I were to get the Al dente I would get the 168 which would add some weight but I suspect it wouldn't be much. Anyone know whether these skis would be on the heavier or lighter side of the spectrum?

I think the weight gain wouldn't be noticeable. plus Armada construction is for sure lighter and more durable than Volkl

whats the average weight for a park ski i ride filthy riches that weigh around 12 pounds and i just bought a pair of surface outsiders and they will weigh around 13 pounds with fks 140. ik this is a pretty heavy set up but whats the average set up persay

Don't worry about weight man, only super techy AT guys care much about weight.

I'm kiddin, but it shouldn't be an issue. Bindings will likely make a larger difference than skis. I don't even care that much about weight when I am touring. I'll load up some fat skis with metal Trackers and tour all day, legs are gonna burn but the next time I go out its a breeze.

My best suggestion for the weight difference is to weigh the individual skis. My bet is that since Armada is so big the two skis might not be too closely related in weight compared to ON3P and Moment, who either weigh their skis to pair them or use wood that is pretty much side-by-side in their cores so they are symmetrical. I can tell you that most skis are around 10 pounds a pair...super light touring skis can get close to 5 or 6, but everything else is around the 10 pound range.
