omnidataThe Nudie crotch blow-out is of course a bit of a meme but there's some definite truth in that. Not to badmouth or anything, the denim is decent, stitching is good for such a high-volume brand even some chain stitching, hardware is also quite nice, backpocketdesign is uggo, best part is the fit really, i have several Nudie's and the fit for me is quite well done. They are just not very strong, not delicate by any means, but ride a bike too often *bam* there go your knees, one tornado kick and *bam* your balls are on display.
Thanks for the info. its much appreciated. Definitely a plus coming from someone who owns their jeans.
VinnieFwtf are you doing to wreck a pair of jeans in 4 months? there's no way cheap Walmart jeans will only last that long unless it's the only pair you wear and you're spilling acid on them and rolling in the mud. in which case no jeans will be safe.
I work in a tricky industry. live event staging, when i'm doing concert gigs, there is basically no standard to hold to. But I work corporate and convention shows quite often, and there are very high standards of what you can wear.
Up until now, I've been wearing cheap black jeans that fade and fade to weird distortions of their dye. The staging industry is rough on your clothes, you never know if you'll be climbing truss, crawling under a stage, or maybe none of that. So wearing those cheap jeans, they rip, tear, wear out, discolor and just look bad. and when I work a high end corporate show, I need something that looks good, but yet still durable and sturdy.
So i made this thread to see what quality denim jean companies are out there, because i'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to that.
