kryptonicI really can't decide what to get, I want a flexier maybe medium flex park ski and I was thinking the Al dente but I heard it has an unbalanced flex pattern and I also heard the b dogs aren't that great either. Some people say the ar7 is nice but I'm not sure which one to get. Does anyone have any experience with armada park skis?

Personally I really liked them as a park ski. Yes, its a softer ski, but it has that springy poppy flex that in my mind you want in the park. Note that I like a softer park ski, and if you were hitting the massive jumps and wanted something absolutely rock solid this is going to feel softer and a bit washier. However personally most of the time this is the exact type of ski I'd want to ride in the park.

it doesnt have to be armada, ive just been looking at them for awhile so i wanted to know peoples opinions on them. I know there is line, k2, atomic, jskis, faction, volkl etc. It just seemed like the b dog and al dente were a ski that i would like, and i like armadas top sheets.

I have the 2013 AR7's and I just finished by second year with them. They are the best park skis ive had yet. Flex wise theyre more on the medium-stiff side, but that makes them super stable. Ive hit some pretty big booters and those skis never let me down. Very good durability. After two years the bases have no core shots or deep scratches. Would recommend for sure.

I have the 2014 AR7's 181cm and picked up the 2014 Al Dente's 188cm last summer (for $299, crushed the savings).

To me, I love the Al Dente's because they are a bit bigger. Im 6'6'' 200lbs. They are straight noodles though. It was a little sketchy stopping with them when I first rode them because of the flex. I never had a problem with them on rail nor a jump. Stomped my first 3 with them. I believe they have 98mm underfoot which I love because I have a bigger foot. Rips in pow too.

I just started park when I first got the AR7's. Had not problem on jump or rails, I was just sketched out from the skinnier underfoot, but I think that is just skier preference (Or my lack of skiing park at the time). These skis kill it if you are just ripping down groomers. Wish I took them out more this season and really worked them. Obviously wouldn't reccommend these for pow, I was superman one too many times haha.

My honest opinion, you cant go wrong with either of them.

THall VS AR7 durability.

I hear a lot of people say a lot of good things about the AR7, like that they are bomb proof and such, and I don't doubt it see lots of dude that shred park all the time still using 2013 or 2012 models.
with the THalls, I hear a lot of good things too, I just seem to hear a bit more negative reviews about their durability compared to the Ar7.

I'd say exactly that - different flex. Like bending a paperclip back and forth. The more something's bent out of shape, the sooner it's gonna fail. There could be other components in the AR7 that aren't in the THall, but in principle, the softer ski will probably 'wear out' sooner.
