So I'm really new to skiing and had no idea what forward pressure was and I still don't really know what it is. All I know is that the white thing on heel piece of my Rossi fks should be flush with the black dashes near the white thing, but mine are actually a few millimeters before the black dashes. I got them mounted by a local shop and they set the dins on my toe and heel according to my weight and height. I do know how to change my forward pressure so that's not the problem. The problem is that I don't know if forward pressure has anything to do with height and weight like dins do, I also don't know if forward pressure is set according to boot size, mine is 29.5, or if the white thing is supposed to be flush the black dashes no matter what. So far i feel like my fks have released when they should but I have pre released which I later found out was due to the fact that one of my toe piece dins got lowered. There also have been other times where I've felt I've popped out when I really shouldn't have, like when I landed a trick my ski would sometimes just pop off. I really don't want to tear an acl though so I guess sometimes releasing more easily could be better but I also don't want to release when I don't need too so could someone just give me some insite on all these questions I have?
