Replying to Another tech binding question thread...

Looking to upgrade to a tech binding setup, right now I'm on Gurdian 16s and Surface Green life's and have Scarpa thrill boot (tech sole)

After tearing my ACL this year I'm pretty superstitious to a tech binding but I would also love to have a lightweight setup. So have you guys had dangerous release problems with a tech binding? I know release predictability is a hard thing to monitor but is there a tech binding that is more "safe" than others or releases more smoothly?
