I don't know, only thing i know is that he skied on the Armada Al Dente under B&E Invitational.. and he has left APO, so it is a possibility

yeah APO is done,

bummer because their skis were pretty rad

sweet though the skis are cheap now that they are done

Sammy is off of APO, so is Hudson, the real question is where is scrappy joining?

i don't think armada would sign him, seems like armada's team is too stacked and adding more athletes would not help increase their sales unless they made a Sammy C pro model from armada which would be RAAAAAAAD!

Nice try but he is off to Batalla TX HQ......hence why their website has been crashed for so long. It makes sense to me since Gravity is clearly not Sammy's enemy.

It makes heaps of sense for APO to sponsor formula one. Formula one is huge in Europe and APO is a mainly Europe company.

But it's incredibly expensive to sponsor in f1 and APO beeing in a relatively small market (freestyle) would not appeal to the average formula 1 viewer. Plus the team they sponsored dropped out last year, not a worth while investment. Just my .02

damn I had a feeling APO was done once I saw Mahler riding his 2014 pro models... so sad since APO's are literally the best park skis I've ever been on

It was my understanding that they're only done distributing in the US. Being a euro dude I dont think it affects him

Also, I don't know if sammy/hudson/TJ are actually SIGNED to Armada. More they are just getting free skis because their names have a lot of power (at least for now)

The probably get paid to put their logo on the Marussia. It costs a lot to sponsor a team who are actually scoring points, not so much a team of pay drivers at the back of the grid.

You think Marussia had money to pay a sponsor? Hahaha they need sponsorship money to survive, no sponsor would ever get paid to put their logo on a car. The team may pay the driver sponsored by a company who in turn gives the team much more money. Marrussia is no longer unfortunately but might make it back as Manor

1 It was sarcasm, learn it.

2 They are back as Manor, they just didn't race in Melbourne as they are still modifying a 2014 car and since they didn't set a lap in testing or qualifying they had no way to prove they would have been within the 107% rule for lap times.

3 Most of the grid are pay drivers, the smaller teams don't have any salaried drivers as they drivers are paid by their direct sponsors or funded buy their parents / backers. From memory over half the grid in F1 will not be paid a salary by their teams, it could be more. Certainly Mclaren, Ferrari, Williams, Red Bull, and Mercedes are the only teams who's drivers are fully salaried by the team. The likes of Force India and Lotus are split in that the one driver will be there simply as he is providing a sponsor who pays for the title of the team say $40 million or so.

4 The nose cone sponsorship APO had with Marrusia was likely linked to their backing of Jack Clarke, and the nose cone area on the lower rent teams will only set a sponsor back around $5-10k per race. Which is basically free in F1 Terms. (one of the business I advise looked at some backing of Caterham last year so I know the rates pretty well.)

That was Karcher on the K2's. Scrappy is still mobbing around on Kai pro models. Also Willie is still on APO

seems like a different rider than henrik and casabon, it would be cool to have a rider thats not all crazy swagged out, not that theres anything bad with that those guys are dope riders just saying hes a different kind of rider. wonder what his signature ski would be like

I say it is because he has a riding style similar to Torin and he rides Pipe Cleaners/Ar7 which is a good fit for Sammy. Not sure about the Edollos tho
