Liberty Mountain Snowflex Camp

I'm considering going for the summer camp at Liberty. Is it good for progession? And also, can you bring a camera and just film, or are they strict about what you do on the snowflex?

Hey man! I see that no one has responded so even though it's lame for us to respond to this I can answer your questions. We've received overwhelming feedback that our camps are great for progression, but what you put in is often times what you get out of it. So if you come willing to receive some coaching and apply yourself I have no doubt that you would progress. That being said, snowflex is not better than snow, so we've separated ourselves from the other camps by applying a heavy use of great coaching and we've received good feedback from this.

That being said, bring you camera, make a summer edit, use whatever music you want. We are strict on some policies and you can check those on our website, but we get stoked that campers make their own edits every summer.

No doubt you will progress! And there is a lot of spare time to film! Awesome atmosphere as well!

Do it!!! It's such a fun camp! You get time to ride on your own at night and thats where you can film and do whatever you want! Its definitely a great time. I learned sooo much last year. If you're on the east coast its definitely worth it compared to windells or coc or momentum etc. You should really consider coming!

Yup. When you fill out the application its on one of the sections. It costs extra but they have it!

You're on your own way more during the day. You can leave campus and stuff and you aren't being watched 24/7. It's pretty laid back for the older riders. The counselors are like 18-25ish mostly so hanging out with them is really really rad. Last year my friend and I were 18 and like the oldest ones there but it was really cool. You'll be in a room with people around your age too so its not bad.

I heard from Ming that it's a fairly religious camp, but also that it's a ton of fun. I would recommend it.

yes, last year the freeride portion of the camp consisted of using the airbag, now that I think of it I dont think it was ever inflated for the coaching portion of the camp.

I say that in jest, but Jerry Falwell was actually a pretty terrible person. Liberty is beyond rad for being one of the only things of it's kind in the country and this whole point is moot anyway as he's long dead...fellow really was a bastard though.
