This is not a huge gap in murder rates by race.

Here's the problem with the stats you just provided: Blacks only make up something like 14% of the US population. I believe Whites make up something like 65%. I don't feel like finding the exact numbers, but those I stated are very close. So, that said, there is a HUGE discrepancy between the number of Blacks murdered vs Whites. If there was no gap in murder rates, you'd expect the murder rates to be similar to their relative % of the US population, which is clearly not the case as evidenced by your stat.

It's not a relevant stat anyway, as we are talking about Police killings.
