Replying to Dynafiddle Mounting Options
So I'm looking to get a pair of dynafits or some other recommended brand of light AT bindings for longer tours. My question is which skis I should mount them on and which binding you guys recommend.
I should preface that I already have Moment Bibbys with Guardian 13s (not super heavy but not light by any means) for deeper days/shorter tours.
I also just bought a pair of 4frnt CRJs off the climb for stupid cheap before nobody can ever find them again (discontinued as of last year). They're really light and seem like they'd be fun for touring, but I'm they suck on hardpack and I'm not sure if they'd be too much an overlap with my Bibbys.
I also have a pair of Moment PB&Js (already mounted with alpine bindings) that are super light and much better on harder snow and much more narrow. 102mm waist instead of 112 in the CRJ and 116 in my Bibby.
Which ski would you guys mount them on being that I already have the Bibbys with Guardians? Do I put my alpine bindings from my PB&Js on my CRJs and put the dynafits on my PB&Js? Or do I get dynafits on my new CRJs and keep the PB&J as my every day resort ski?
Also, which binding? I'm thinking one of the Dynafit Radicals but I'm not really sure since I've never had the option of testing dynafit style bindings out in person. I'm only 5'2" 115 pounds so something like the Dynafit Beast is probably overkill especially since it doesn't have a flat touring mode.
Thanks guys for the input.
