DuckonquackYeah I did this with my on3ps and I had like 6 edge cracks within the first 25 days so I really want to avoid that again
I was on that thread you made about the edge cracks. As long as pieces of the edge aren't getting ripped out it is fine. Especially with ON3P since they are attached so well. That little crack you had was nothing and I skied with edge cracks on my for 2 years until the edge pieces came out after I skied mostly rails for this season. The performance was not hindered at all. You are correct. Using a file incorrectly does affect your edge and a circular motion is how files are always intended to be used. You don't need to file your edges. Just hit mellow rails for a few runs to give them time to round off naturally.
