Eric_Partridgebetter cpu's
omnidataDifferent strokes for different folk, neither is better in terms of absolutes, it's a subjective personal choice.

msewardgoogle hangouts. basically same shit , comes on the nexus and you can download it as your sms app on any other droids. i also think( am not sure) that you can use hangouts with a mac, but you cant use imessage on a pc
Peter.Yeah but all of my friends have iPhones and no one wants to use Google hang outs
omnidataThis right about where your post fell of a cliff, you can't directly compare hardware specs from android with iOs device. Let's take the iPhone 6 and put it up against the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus and compare CPU's, the Samsung has the mighty Snapdragon 805 2.457 GHz with 4 cores and the iPhone has a paltry two core 1.4Ghz Apple A8. In those numbers the Snapdragon is beating the A8 hard.
But what if we look at some cross-platform benchmark scores with Geekbench? Then the S5+ scores a neat 2983 in multi-core performance. The iPhone 6 scores a 2885, roughly in the same ballpark. But remember, that iPhone has an entire less gigahertz and is lacking two cores. When you look at a single core benchmark the iPhone scores a 1612 and the S5+ a 1033, that is a big difference.
What does this tell you?
Despite seemingly weaker the iPhone has much more efficient chip in combination with the tailored OS which offers superior single-threaded performance, which is arguably more relevant for most everyday tasks like browsing.
I hate phone comparisons, you need more asterisks and longer explanations then necessary so back to this point I said earlier:
Eric_Partridge. Lets also not forget the fact that apple really didnt improve there processor from the 5s to the 6 (by .05 ghz)
lcoopmanI personally think apple is good at marketing, but really not good at anything else.
*DUMBCAN*You have a fucking retarded personal opinion then.
They follow a completely different path from other companies, this applies across every thing they do. That doesn't mean they're not good at anything.

lcoopmanNo disrespect to iPhone. Personally I think they have better advertising, but could work on their processor, screen etc.
*DUMBCAN*Yeah, but you should learn to read. The iPhone processor is better than the best android processors at single core, even with a serious clock-rate disadvantage.

erikKI text off my laptop using Airdroid. Does everything imessage does and so much more. Wireless file transfer, notifications for all apps, screen mirroring to computer, etc
.Hugo.What app do you use for that?
crotchventI'd like to go on the record saying fuck Apple I didn't want that stupid app for a watch I don't and never will have. Once my contract is up for my 5s probably going to get the Sony z4.
lcoopmanI love my Sony
