am looking at buyin a pair of skis here on ns but I have one concern. The plastic under oke of the heel pieces is broken off. Is this a problem? And can I take that piece off my fks 14 and use it on the 18s? Will try and get pics tn
So that's where the forward pressure indicator is and that plastic protects the ski from heel piece. You can't replace the plastic itself, but you can replace the whole plate. Unscrew the "dildo" piece at the forward adjustment points (two screws on the top of those arms...you have to do this sort of evenly between the two sides), then screw them into the new plate.
it honestly wouldnt affect performance that much, all you are missing is the forward pressure indicator which is unreliable already on fks. but no shop will mount those, so unless you work in a shop or plan on mounting them yourself i wouldn't buy them.

is it the same piece on fks 14? and would i be able to take the piece off my old fks 14 to put on the 18s?
