Replying to Mounting skis backwards

can you do this, i saw a guy today with some k2 domains today and they were mounted backwards with the tails going first. if you have a symmetrical ski i dont see a problem with it. but take the aldentes for example would it be possible to mount them like this for a flexier tail and stiffer tips, just a thought i wouldnt consider it but seeing those skis got me thinking about it. I would imagine that having a thinner tip than your tail would ride weird but idk what are your thoughts?
