DrZoidbergDidn't Dumont do this for pipe at x games one year, so they'd carve switch better? Or was that just a rumor?
Mr.BishopWAY back in the day the Head Mad Trix were actually designed to work like this. They had this crazy switchable binding that went from big mountain mode to park mode.
The binding was way too heavy to be useful, but I mounted my bindings like 1-2cm forwards of center and the ski backwards.
It was absolutely fucking DYNAMITE for riding switch. Never in my days on skis have I had as much edge control and stability at speed as then. However, every time you tried to go over a mogul, you would double eject because of the tiny little tips. That is a sprinkle of an exaggeration, but it was definitely pretty bad.
If you want to go on a switch life mission where you're committing to skiing backwards 75% of the time, its a fun experiment. Other than that a normal center mount with symmetrical skis is probably the best bet.
Caucasian_AsianI remember those. They read "Big Mountain" in one direction and "Park" in the other.
Also, OG Pocket Rockets had an arrow pointing towards the tips so that they didn't get mounted backwards.
YUNG_milksteAkDomains are symmetrical
Profit????
