kryptonicSo I'm really new to skiing and I hear a lot of people talking about lip on blind 2 so what is so great about it? Is it the difficulty? The flow of the trick? What is it that makes it so special.
gavinrudyWell, it's the only trick in the world, so I guess you can't really not be stoked on it.
gavinrudyit's the only trick in the world

freestyler540Blind 2? Spinning, looking away from the rail is scary as shit...until you nail the trick. You can't see too well what is going on under you, but when that rails pops up under your feet from nowhere...its an insane feeling of stomping power. Only pulled off one in my life...contests and pressure can make you do crazy things.
-emile-you've landed .... one ?
one blind 2 ?
you've been on this site since 2003.
you've landed one blind 2 in 12 years of skiing park ?
what the fuck have you been doing this entire time ?
ObeseBunnybecause when tom wallisch was growing up in detroit he had to lip on blind 2 his way out of the projects and get in to the professional ski game

freestyler540K I hate guys like you. Sincerely, I hate that fucking attitude. Having fun is what it's about. I have nothing to prove to you or to anyone else.
I am not a park skier by identification. I freeride. Love bashing moguls, carving sweet turns, learning skiing theory, learning to off axis spin, perfect rails in all directions, carving switch and since 2012, deep powder skiing, touring, cliff hucks and spins off cliffs. That is what I have been up to the last 12 years, learning all the aspects of the sport. I will never be the best park rider or big mountain rider; but I am sure to follow anyone anywhere and be able to send it.

freestyler540With all your good posts over the years, I am a little surprised by this one. You must have been aware of the backlash of dissing someone's style or performance. You did come off as a cocky asshole. We all have strengths and weaknesses in skiing and some terrain speaks better to others. What is also cool about freeriding is that it's such a multi-aspected sport. As time changes; tricks change, parks are designed differently and evaluation on abilities have changed too. Some can't risk injury. Some have work directly tied in with health that learning new tricks, and keeping them, is impossible. Doing high risk moves means the real risk of getting hurt...through the spectrum from bruises to paralysis. Walking away from a planned trick is the hardest thing to do, but at least I am sure to ride the next day.
As you grow older, your style changes; you seek challenges that speak more to you and not with what you are stuck with. I am just glad to ski everyday from November to April, where I live offers to much more interesting terrain than park, I would like to invite you here for next winter to experience it. Dead serious. My perspective on skiing changed when I met some local talent.
-emile-you're still not getting what I'm saying man,
I wasn't attacking you in the slightest , I was just usinf the surprise tone as a way to put emphasis on the fact that it's crazy to me that you've landed only one blind 2.
saying "what have you been doing all this time wasn't a knock at waht you do when you go skiing , it was more like , "you're missing out on a fun trick"
that's all , lol.
JM0N5T3Rno offense to anyone but im pretty sure the majority of us dont really care what tricks you have landed or not, just have fun skiing
