equinnI went to snowflex last summer and it was awesome! I didnt learn too many tricks (mainly because i was a little bitch) but I got sooooo much better fundamentally. It really set me up for learning a ton of more tricks when the season actually came and boosted my confidence a ton. Its also really cheap compared to the camps out west. There was also a HUGE girls volleyball camp while we were there (600+ girls with spandex all day) I would totally reccomend going!
equinnFor me (i live in southern ny) it was an 8 hour drive that we did in one day and i went for the camp (5 days of skiing) and it was $650 per week last year with a free weekend if you did both weeks but i think they upped the price to $750 for this summer :/
MinggFuck yeah you should go. I went last year and it was such an awesome time. You learn A LOT and it translates to snow soooo well. It's so fucking fun too.
The only lame part is its a SUPER religious camp so if you aren't into that it's a little overwhelming. But the skiing is so worth it. You should definitely go.

MinggAs long as your skin is covered it isn't bad. Theres padding underneath the surface so it's not so bad!

JamartiniProbably not, I've seen plenty of gapers go to the camp so Im sure you won't be along, just come prepared and keep an open mind, anyone can learn a lot from this camp.... I promise.

Some of the best memories that I have from ski camp were getting fucked up with the other campers/counselors and people who worked there.
MinggNope! It's not any more intimidating/ scary than trying it on snow. You ski a good amount. There are two sessions, one in the morning and one at night when it's coolest outside.
