Probability in Skiing Safety

Hey for my Math Connections class we are supposed to do a project on how probability relates to something we are interested in. In my case I chose park skiing. My teacher suggested that I try and see how important safety is to the average park skier. I have made a survey to collect data for my project. If everyone could answer it that would be great. I think the results should be pretty interesting since park skiing is a sport where you fall a lot and where many people don't wear helmets. Here is a link to the survey:

One thing, I have never had a diagnosed concussion, but I am pretty sure I have had one or even multiple.

The best source would be patrol and local search and rescue. They will provide you with reports and numbers vital for your research. Make sure to break down your variables well. Safety has a hole bunch of them and fleshing it out is going to be very hard. Most small incidents are never reported.

Done. But what's the relevance to the last two years? I am 27 now and how much I ski and how I ski is very different than how I skied five years ago. You should add an age metric and get rid of the past two years part of the later questions. My answers to those questions would have been very different a couple years ago.

Concussions and broken bones aren't the only common injuries associated with skiing remember. Knee and thumb ligament injuries are other examples of injuries that happen all the time. What specific links are you trying to draw as a result of this? I'm sure many of us would be able to help further improve your results if we knew what your hypothesis is.
