i play those scratch and win cards when i get them for free. but ive never won. slot machines are my thing as far as gambling goes.

i would rather gamble on something i can control, Like a basketball shot, or a golf putt, or doing something that people wouldn't think i could do. But slot machines would definatley not be my choice of gambling. No skill involved just luck and shitty odds.

i know about the odds as far as slots go, but i can win alot of the time. from experience i always go up 10 dollars or so no matter what, so now when i make 10 dollars profit, i leave. i know it isnt alot, but i come out on top.

i work at a foot market place where i live and when its someone cool working at the main cash they let me buy loto tickets. Once i won like 6 bucks but i spent it on more tickets and lost it all

scratch and wins are so damn misleading, you uncover like, 2 '$50,000' prizes, and you're like oh shit! how can i lose! but sure enough, you do. there isnt any more '$50,000' prizes under all that scratchable stuff.

the most iv ever won was 25 dollars, and that was in a 10 dollar ticket my parents sent me. I used the winnings to get a subscritption to Freeze.

When I'm 19 I'm gonna buy a lottery ticket every week for the rest of my life.
It's $2 a week at a chance for alot of money.
If I don't win, big deal. $2 a week is nothing.

scratch tickets are my gamble of choice, I seen to have good luck with shit luck gambling. I've won $10,000 on a $2 ticket, and again on a $10 ticket and $1000 on a $5 ticket (and countless other times from getting my money back to $500 - these don't have to be cashed at the lottery commision).

So I've had the fun of paying taxes on $21,000 of gambling profits in the last 3 years (and of course my state doesn't let you write off losses like you can with federal taxes). But yet I've never gambled in a casino, and only occasionally play hold em (with about a 50% win percentage).

i used to always get scratch cards in my stocking for christmas, and usually won about $5-10. but this year my parents didn't put any in there.

and i turned 18 a couple weeks ago so i bought my first lottery ticket ever. but then the guy didn't ask for ID so i was disappointed.

being from MA, we do have the highest payout and best odds in the country (I believe) for lottery, but its just shit luck. Only problem is having not put it to good use (although some did go to bills and parental debt).

December, my family always got scratch tickets in our stockings too, and it was great as a kid becuase I would win and my brother would lose and get pissed (even the time my parents switched the tickets right before we scratched em). But the best was my fathers reaction to hitting $50 this xmass, and them my mothers dumbfounded look as she hit $1000 (I got a whopping $14 and my brother zip - haha). My mother was pretty disappointed though that she couldn't just go to the corner store to cash it (and wasn't thrilled about having to pay taxes on it).

I just hate seeing people risk everything on lottery and specifically scratch tickets. I can't even tell you how many times I see people drop an entire paycheck or welfare check on lottery. Too many people just cannot control their gambling.
