just learned 5s got a few on wednesday and was spinning all the way around, but a few days later after a long day of skiing i tried them and i just didnt seem to be able to get them and now im worried i cant do one, should i be?
same thing happened to me with backflips. stomped like 30 in a row for two days and haven't been able to do them since. I could be tired, jump could feel more sketchy, there are lists of reasons. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Once you land a trick, just keep throwing it until you land it every time with no effort and are really comfortable with it. Worst thing to do is just land it once or twice then stop.
you gotta just keep doing them till you get them down, dont over think it i do that sometimes and then i get frustrated cause i cant land it. if youve done it once you can do it again
just dont over think it, its in your muscle memory and your probably just getting frustrated/over thinking to the point that its making the trick mentally harder than it actually is.
go try other tricks to take your mind off it, then come back to it. This works for me
I used to do frontflips all the time, then my first one of the season o few years ago, i landed backseat and took my binding up the ass. I decided I would retire frontflips but I feel you it can be really annoying when you cant land a trick that you know you can do or have done.
