Dalbello plastic cuff closures - durability

I recall reading a few threads a year or two ago about the plastic cuff closures on Dalbello boots breaking. Can't remember though if this happened on Voodoos and/or Il Moros. Is this still an issue? Pretty keen on some Il Moros, and yes, done the bootfitter thing.

Not once have I ever heard of someone breaking the cuff of a Dalbello Voodoo or Il Moros so that shouldn't be an issue at all. I say if they fit you well go ahead and pick them up (remember to make sure to get a custom footbed as well). You're far more likely to break off buckles or something than actually break a bit off the shell.

pretty sure you're referring to the old style ill moro snowboard style top buckle, I'm pretty sure the ratcheting system on those were known for stripping, but they changed it in 2010 or 2011 and it doesnt do that anymore.
