Spraining Ankle During Ski Season

The worst injury ever? My damn ankle looks like a grapefruit and I'm pretty much out for all of the spring season.

I sprained my ankle two years ago in a basketball game and it is still stiff/not as flexible. They take a long time to heal.

i did something similar, and it still hurts.

i hucked off a small little booter we made, landed, tomahawked, my left heel came out of the pocket of the boot and got twisted and tweaked a bit, and it still hurts hahaha

Shot into the woods and almost broke my femur but made it out with just a broken hand, concussion and a leg the size of a watermelon.

I got a concussion last week Friday Trying 720s. Apparently I was out cold for a while. I hate not being able to ski :(

broke both my ankles skateboarding and two ribs apart from that. but never done much skiing only the occasional muscle strain and bruising, knock on wood.

Did that beginning of 12-13 winter. Look on line for Physical therapy exercises. They will help you recover much faster. Or go see a physical therapist. The electrode shock device they used on my strained MCL help me recover really fast.

I sprained my ankle a few seasons ago. My ankle swelled like crazy I was afraid it was broken, couldn't walk on it for 3 days. Still went skiing the next weekend, which was silly because I was pretty much just one footing it down groomers. Any edge pressure on the sprained foot resulted in terrible pain. It took about 3 weeks until I could ski somewhat normally, and then a full year before I got full mobility and strength back. I didn't do any PT though, I wish I had, as I think it would've greatly shortened my recovery time. It took a really long time to get my flexibility back. Ankle sprains are no joke.

Beginning of last season snapped my tibia and fibula in my right leg like twigs, was out for rest of the season
But hey i guess that's what the Ski Gods do to you when you decide to start snowboarding again.

just sprained my ankle on a trip to a mtn,the night before we went skiing playing some indoor soccer. wrapped that shit tighter than a trojan on a horse dick. could barely do groomer. two weeks later still limping.

I thought I sprained my ankle badly over the summer. Turns out I tore a tendon requiring surgery and was out 6 months. Yah ankle injuries suck.
