Season Enders

I haven't posted on here in a while, and I have a sinking suspicion this'll be a repost, but I wanna hear some of your guys' season enders! Right now I'm waiting for my X rays for a potential fractured back. I'm bummed, but just glad I didn't get paralyzed! I guess that's what you get when you hit a wall hauling ass switch ahaha😅

Broke my collarbone early feb, the same day my buddy skied switch into a building and snapped his femur. bone went right through his skin and had to have a plate put in with 7 seven screws.

Best of luck man, hope everything is ok.

I had a similar lower vertebrae scare earlier this season, luckily X rays showed nothing was fractured/cracked/broken. Guess that's what happens when you hit a tree and get bucked over a cliff in a low snow year.

Wasn't a season ender but I broke my thumb at PCMR last spring break and didn't know I broke till a week later when my thumb was the size of an tennis ball, I think the main reason my thumb didn't hurt because I got to shake Andy Parrys hand with the hand, it was magical. But luckily it was the end of the season anyway. But after about 2 weeks of having the cast on I took this magical saw that doesn't cut skin but does cut my cast and I sawed the fuck out of my cast and was freed. Thanks for listening.

Yo, broke my collarbone early February too. Snapped it pretty bad, bone was close to coming through the skin. Got a plate holding it together now. Bummer but I'm happy to be alright.

a piece of cartilage fell off my knee and was floating around inside (ocd) and they had to screw it back on. Missed this whole season, possible part of next one too.

vibes man. i was lucky enough to not have surgery. Pretty sure i can ski this coming weekend. been 6 weeks

I'm getting foot surgery at the end of march, it's late season thankfully.
Last year I tore my labrum in January, and surgery on that put me out for the year.

update: ruptured the disk inbetween my L4 and L5, and have a compression fracture on my L5. Im glad its nothing worse but ill be a few months to recover fully :/

when my buddy was 16, he got towed into a jump and overshot by like 70 feet. pretty much turned into simon dumont. Shattered pelvis, dislocated jaw, and multiple broken ribs.

Same here, mid january I snapped my collarbone in 2 places so one almost came out of the skin and another part pretty close to my lung.. got a plate and 8 screws in there now and 7 weeks later I am still not allowed to ski.. sucks

fractured my thoracic spine in two places last December and was able to do light skiing in April and have made a full recovery.

Lacerated my spleen and liver this season.

have bad luck, vibes to you heal up

Broke my collarbone in 2 places three weeks ago, it looked pretty bad on the X rays, but doctors say it will heal without surgery.
I'm pretty sure that's the end of my season..

my brother just fractured his collarbone but hopefully if it heals right he'll get like 2 weeks of skiiing before the end.

joining the collarbone club. broke into 6 pieces while alone at stevens. had to drive my manual back to portland. fucking sucked but even worse is sitting here bored out of my mind. surgery 5 days ago got me feeling much better

next season better be dank. vibes to all my collarbone homies
