Which has the best park. Mt Hutt, Remarkables, Coronet?

remarks has a bangin park, i thought it was better than cardies when i was there, but that's personal opinion. I don't think coronet has one, but if they do it's probably small. No idea about hutt.

Yeah, seemed like they had a good one. Coronet has one but it's small as far as I know and really don't see anything from there ever. Hutt built some new tubes last year and had some cool setup. Didn't see much from the remarkables last year but seems like the parks pretty solid.

Just asking cause I can only apply to one job with NZ ski apparently. So trying to choose between hutt and remarkables unless someone comes in here and mentions that coronet is awesome.

The Remarkables has a great park, easily the only one in the country to compete with Cardies. Coronet, as far as I know, might have a few flat boxes but that's it.

Mt Hutt's is usually pretty good I think, not sure how it would compare to Turoa (which you were at last season right?) size wise but it's probably not solid ice all the time! I know last year at Hutt it sucked just because they didn't have any snow. It may just come down to where you would rather live - Queenstown, which is full on and expensive as fuck, but absolutely gorgeous; or Methven which is a lot smaller and quieter (I assume people doing seasons up Hutt live in Methven but I'm sure someone from Canterbury can come in and correct me on that).

Another vote for Remarks from me. Mt Hutt normally has a decent park, as people have mentioned. I've never been to Coronet, so I can't really pass judgement on it.

QT definitely takes my vote over Methven! I'm not sure I'd want to spend the entire season based in Methven to be honest. The only advantage of Hutt over Remarks, for me, would be that you're not too far away from some of the decent club fields like Craigieburn and Mt Olympus. That would only be an advantage if you have enough full days off (and transport) though.

Lets hope this season is a decent one!

I wanted to work there but timing was off. Did NZ last year and Aussie had a killer season. Place was dumping out edits and now it's gonna be tough to grab a job there.


Thinking I might do the remarks and see if I can post interest in hutt as a backup
