Replying to First frontflip in awhile tips/advice
so this is my first year skiing ever and it has been awhile since i tried a frontflip. Last time i tried one it was on a very small jump i built on a hill it was maybe 2 and a half feet high and i didnt get much air at all. Unfortunately after i landed it i went for it again to try and get it cleaner and broke my rossi fks 140 bindings and got them fixed a few days after. Since I last tried ones i got very comfortable with 3s and can throw them pretty nicely off jumps and learned 5s just a few weeks ago and am pretty comfortable throwing them too. Im going night skiing today though and i sort of want to throw a front flip but im not sure if i should wait to build a jump in powder or if i should just sack up and try it on the jump at the park tonight. How i would plan to throw it would jump be to pop similar to how i would throw a 3 or a 5 but except i would channel that pop forward to flip. Is this the best way to throw it off a jump? and should i sack up and go for it and are there any other tips that could help me if i do end up trying it?
