Televised Skiing Events

Yesterday I came home and flipped on the TV to see that some Skiing events were on. Of course I tuned into the channel only to see that it was an Men's aerials competition. Aerials is neat and all but I think it leans more toward gymnastics than skiing. So I question why the network decided to air a re-run of an aerials competition instead of some other skiing event. I'm curious what the NS community thinks of this. If your to hear that Skiing is on TV, What do you want to see? More X games stuff? (Big Air, Half Pipe, Slopestyle etc.) Ski Racing Events (Slalom, Super G, Downhill, Moguls,) or some Freeride Events like the Freeride world tour or Linecatcher?
