Working in Yellowstone this summer

Hey guys! I just got hired by Xanterra to work at Yellowstone Lake Lodge this summer. I was wondering if anyone on good ole NS has done this type of thing before and if you could give me some advice or any pointers. Overall I'm stoked as hell because Yellowstone but I've heard some pretty mixed reviews about Xanterra.

I've been to yellowstone plenty of times. Its just the whole live and work in the park thing that Im wondering about.

When i was there some guy was trying to "recruit" me to go there a couple summers ago or even next summer. From what it sounded like it sounded like a great experience and i might do it not this summer but next summer.

Of the 12 or so people I know that have worked for them, only 2 or 3 have good things to say about the company. They are completely focused on the bottom end and treat and work you like dogs. You can get fired for anything and everything because they know that hiring another person to clean rooms or flip burgers is easy as hell.

That said its a wonderful spot to be! Imo teton national park is a better option. Better terrain, real mountains and not as many tourists. Check out signal mtn lodge or Jackson lake lodge. Plus you get to party in a real city on your off days.

I laughed out laud. But actually I would do that over Old Faithful because theres a myth its not gonna be near as active as it used to be. Stick your face in it while you can dude. Also, the more closer you are to a geyser, the less likely the bear attack...
