Lately, it seems to be a popular trend for gear heads to giving each other false hope. At first it was the 2015 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

Obviously since Pontiac went out of business... This isn't feasible and it's just a 2015 Camaro with a widebody kit.

Now it's the Lincoln Continentals turn to be a concept car again.

I would drive the shit out of this continental... Suicide doors and all. Come on man!

Have you guys seen anything else floating around the interwebs?

Seems to be a popular trend in the racing world. It's funny when you see multiple race teams running what they claim to be a "pre-production works" vehicle, and they're all running different vehicles, even though they claimed them to be the same vehicle.

I think it's a tactic of the race teams trying to beat the homologation rules, and somehow/sometimes these drift into the real world auto market.
