LynxNationI use a bunch of different types of bags! It usually depends on what I'm going to be doing with said camera.
If I'm going out in the park I bring a good ole back pack. I'm using a Smith bag right now that has a few pockets for lenses and to secure my camera that works really well! It's not too bulky and there aren't a ton of straps to get caught on the lift (to prevent gaper style moments of your backpack going back down the mtn without you)
Mostly any other time I take it out I use my Timbuk2 bag....it was expensive...but if you feel like you ever have the means to drop some cash on a nice bag I would highly recommend it. It's sturdy, and waterproof, and has enough compartments that I can carry 2 bodies and 5 lenses, plus my computer, and my tripod. It's boss.
How much, or how little, are you wanting to drop on it? Line has the Street Pack has a load of space to put a camera in at a somewhat reasonable price.
If you're looking for something super simple, I have one of those side arm camera bags I could probably get rid of!
