Replying to Touring Bindings
Hey I'm getting some touring bindings for my pow skis and want to know if any of you have any experiences with the Fritschis or Naxo bindings.
Right now I'm leaning towards the Naxo's because I like the 'natural rolling stride' provided by the 2 pivot points in the toe and the fact they are the only touring binders that are indemnified like alpine bindings. I know there were some problems with them last year (breakage) but they seem to have beefed them up for this years release and they come with a 2 year warranty. Yes a little bit heavier but they seem to be a superior binding and much more like a traditional alpine binding...
However, the Freerides are pretty much the standard so maybe it's safer to go with a proven product.
Anyway, any of you guys have experience with either of these and what do you reccommend.
Oh I'm a girl, 5'4', not too heavy and only set my DINs at 7 1/2 so the higher DINs up to 12 isn't a huge selling point for me.
Thanks!
