A NEW SKI FILM

Hey guys,

I am the owner of BCO Productions and we are making a ski film called Movement. Because we have started the filming for the movie late into the season, this film will be released in Fall of 2016. The trailer will be out this fall.

I think the main thing is to be different. Please please please do not make a ski movie just like every other guy with a camera. You have to tell some form of story. I personally think Urban is a good way of telling a story, because you have to get into it as the people producing the film. You have to make your features, and thus, the film feels more real.

i would steer clear of park, (maybe a tiny bit, but really avoid it), because park makes me think "Ski Edit" instead of "Ski Film". Park can be pretty bland because it is the same type of features over and over, which for a short video work, but for a film, get boring.

I would do a mostly urban with cuts to back country, avoiding park as much as possible..
