Thom4sI brought my skis into my local shop and they filled In all the scratches in my bases for free. You could probably find a DIY kit somewhere I've seen them online before.

rozboonIn b4 goat semen.
Cracks or gouges? Bases generally only "crack" when the structure of the ski above them is ruined and the skis usually need to be thrown in the bin.
If the damage is within the thickness of the base material, a ptex candle or similar will work. If the damage is beside the edge or through to the core, I'd recommend a base patch, where the damaged piece of base is cut out and a new piece of base epoxied in, followed by a base grind to flatten it all out.
veng_mhow!?
Babyback_jibsReally? That seems generous of them. I don't think I'll be that lucky being like an hour from my closest shop..
Thanks though.
joriza.ski1.)buy ptex.
2.) light ptex and drip into core shots
3.) let dry
4.) Scrap off excess ptex to make ski even
5.) your skis look much better know don't they?
