Where do you want to take your skiing in regards to grabs, amplitude and/or technical tricks?

I saw some footage of you trying rodeo 5s into a pipe bag a couple summers ago in Mammoth...
Are you still trying to get this or any other inverts into your mix?

You should try to land a bowman bow-and-arrow rodeo if you haven't already, that would be legendary. Also you and Vinni should def throw down in the pipe it would be real tight

Also, how has your family influenced your skiing? You have one of the raddest moms around and Alec is pretty alright sometimes. (I ski with him at UNR)

Are you interested in doing any pipe filming? How do you think pipe could be spiced up for a cool film segment (I'm thinking cubed pipe here)?

What is the worst part about being friends with Ian Burson?

I look to both men a women when I'm looking for inspiration. In the half pipe for example I look at Brita Sigourney, Joffrey, and Wing Tai when I want to go bigger. And as far as style goes I look to Torin and Ayana. Everyone brings something different to the table in skiing and its' great when you can get inspired by others strengths.

1. haha thank you.

2. I think that The North Face had great intentions when it came to educating the non skiing population on what freeskiing is about. Vice did a good job too; however i felt like they built up sides. While in some ways people take sides on the topic of freeskiings place in the olympics. I don't see sides in freeskiing . We as skiers all have our own ways of expressing ourselves in skiing and showing the world in different ways, wether it is an urban edit or the olympics. And I appreciate all types of free skiing. I wish they would have focused on the fun and appreciation for others we have and less on the drama.

3. It is not easy to progress in a sport where the men have already gone so far. We get a lot of hate for it. I just want people to understand that we are not just kicking back. Women skiers work their asses off and we are progressing.

1 I think the progression of women's skiing is moving. The girls that I compete with have all learned a new trick this year and I feel the level rising at each competition.

2. I think I would say to people who hate on women's skiing that. We are out there doing what we love just like they are and hating on us super hard isn't going to help anyone.

My favorite trick is an air to fakie safety grab. And I really enjoy mountain biking, playing soccer, and just being around a lake in the summer.

I just remember how lucky I am to be outside and having the chance to do what I love. I also just leave something I'm struggling with for another day and go do something that makes me smile.

I would like to improve on everything. I really want to get my grabs and amplitude clem for now but I'm excited to learn some new tricks in the future.

Ya the aliop flat 5 is something I really want to do not just in the bag. I had a bit of a mental block with those but I do want to learn them in the pipe and other tricks as well.

haha awesome! My family got me into skiing. And skiing with my little brother is awesome. He is sure to remind me that I'm not that cool but occasionally he lets me have my moments of glory.

Yes I am. My friends and I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I think the cube pipe is an awesome way to spice things up. I also really like Danny Davis' Peace pipe that he films at the end of each season. I think that it's cool incorporating rails and jumps into the pipe because we are all not just pipe jocks haha. And lastly I liked the T Hall invitational at Sierra at Tahoe in 2013 that was cool seeing pipe tricks over the lip of a hip.

haha Yes I do get tired of that word. It just sounds so technical. I like "air" better. "wow he got a ton of air, it was massive"

Pokemon Master, because my little brother would think I'm cooler. Plus I attempted collecting in elementary school.

The Olympics was intense. It was an experience that I will never forget. It was an emotional roller coaster. It gave me several different opportunities. I got to speak and a lot of school about my experience and meet a lot of young skiers and It also really made me appreciate how badass skiing and snowboarding is and how we didn't change for the olympics we just made it better.

I just used my brothers or my boyfriends but I like having my own now.

I do love Westminster. It is so close to so many outdoor activities all year around and living in the dorms was great!

I know. It really takes a toll on the amount of women skiers thats why we need more girls to start skiing park and pipe!!

haha I can't think of one thing.

I did have to travel a lot to get to the snow. If anything it makes me super sad and just makes me want to do everything I can to help stop and shed light on climate change.

A little Bit of both. I learned tricks growing up from my coaches at Sierra at Tahoe but I also learned a lot from my friends!
