ShockG859Thanks man! The Jeffrey 122 looks like it might be exactly what I'm looking for. Any suggestions on where to mount these skis?

ShockG859I'm a total noob to this site. How do I respond directly too an individual answer? I was trying to respond about the Magic J's... Can I respond directly to B.Quincy or do I just post a "Reply Thread"? This is on my mobile. Thanks for all the help.
B. Quincy- I was looking into the Magic J's... But from a lot of the reviews I read, it seemed like they wanted to be skied fast and hard at all times?? While I do like to ski fast at times, I am not a hard charging skier. Do the Magics still float well at med speeds? How do they handle in the trees?

ShockG859Thanks everyone. As much as I love my JJ's ... Just too short... I think I'm going to go with the Magic J's!
ShockG859I'm in the market for a new POW ski. I am not looking for a One-Ski Quiver. I currently ski a pair of Armada JJ 175's for my POW ski and I really enjoy them. But I want something a little fatter, that will provide ample float in the deep, playful and quick in the trees, and stable at speed. Even though I like to open them up on open bowls and powder fields, I am not a hard charger. So, I need something that will float even at medium/slower speeds. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated... Any help will help! Thanks.
ShockG859I can't find the site with the ON3P sales. Can you post a link for me? Thanks for all the help!
sammy_JJCould Consider the Faction 4.0s just make sure they graphic are printed properly as i have seen several pairs with misprints this past year.
Blizzard Gunsmokes are decently soft as well and have some camper which adds some nice life to the ski.
Volk Ones and twos are both nice soft fat skis
lots of soft skis out there recommend demoing/ trying as many as you can before you buy you never know what ski out there will surprise you.
B.QuincyHey, welcome to ns!
So I understand your hesitation with them as they are described that way in most descriptions. I have actually found that they float very well at low to medium speeds especially when im not charging hard (glades in vt) yet they still can open up and charge which is awesome. This makes them very versatile as they are great for untouched pow, glades, tracked out shit, and charging hard. I have basically thrown everything at them since i got them, skied many varying conditions and terrian and they have eaten it all up. Oh and may i add they are loads of fun in the spring slush!
On the flipside the jefferys are extremely awesome skis as well so really you can't go wrong, another ski you might want to consider is the atomic benchetler.
ShockG859Where should I mount my Magic J's?

ShockG859Thanks again for all the help! Another question for you skiing geniuses... And this is not something I plan on doing soon, but in the not too far future... What are some good candidates for an all mtn/backcountry touring ski?? I've heard a lot of good things about the Armada TST... Thoughts??
ShockG859I ended up going with the Magic J's! I am a big fan of the JJ, and I found these for such a great price, I just couldn't pass it up! I have a question about mounting my bindings tho.... Several folks have told me to mount them "on the line" (the factory recommended mounting line)... My question is... Where does this line belong within the mount? Does the line indicate where the toe piece of the binding goes? Or is that line supposed to be in the center of the binding? Also, are there any recommendations on where I should mount my Armada Magic J-180's? I am 5'9" and about 165lbs.
